Taste and See

Last night I went to an event called "Taste and See". It is basically a cooking class that is hosted by two ladies from my church. It was so fun! They made tacos, guacamole, corn and black bean salsa, home fried taco shells, and tres leches cake. It was a great time and I actually think that I could make all of this at home!! Everything was made with no help from a box. (Like the way I normally make tacos!) And it was a great way to meet new folks.

They even talked about helpful tips like which brand of Chicken stock/ bullion cubes taste the best and how to make your own stock! I can't wait to go back again. I do know how to cook, but what a great way to learn how to make new stuff.

FUN FUN FUN!
I took a class like that in Savannah called Apples of Gold. It combined a cooking class with a Bible Study, and I LOVED it. I became a much better cook through the process.
Is this a weekly thing?
And next time, you need to take photos to post. :) I know I'm the photo nazi- which is hillarious when you consider what a poor photographer I am.

It is every 2 weeks. Last night was the first time that I went. I am the photo queen, always taking pics, but I felt a little funny not knowing anyone. Next time, maybe.
