Madison had some very good news this week! She made it into her school's honor chorus. She had to audition and everything. She made it!!! Now what it means is that I have to get up early and have her at school 30 minutes before I usually get her there to rehearse and then they travel (to where I am not sure) to sing with other schools. She is very excited.
On a sad note, she came home from school yesterday absolutely crushed because she was eliminated from the spelling bee with about 6 kids left. Her word was HARPSICHORD (I think that was it). We looked it up on the computer to see the correct spelling. She was so upset. And what made it worse was the kid after her got the word CONDENSATION which she knew pretty easily.
We just tried to focus on the Honors Chorus. :)
