Day 8 and 9

OK, so I was a little busy yesterday and did not get a chance to post. Madison had her appointment at the dentist for the 3 teeth to be pulled. She did great, but was very dizzy from the laughing gas. She had some pain, but all in all she is doing great.



Later in the afternoon, I laid my cell phone on the kitchen counter and walked away. Of course, that is when Chug called from Africa! I ran to the phone but missed the call. He left a message saying that it was probably the last call since they were running out of minutes on the phone. He said that he was fine, but that he had fallen off of a camel! And that he thought he might live.I can't even believe that he was on a camel let alone fell off of one!

If you know Chug very well, he tends to over exaggerate when he is hurt so he was saying that on purpose. ( I can remember one specific time that he ran into something in our old house and he fell on the ground and said that he thought he had broken his back!!! He was dead serious and in some pain, but had barely a scratch...It was quite funny to me! He was not amused)



A few minutes later he did call again and called the house phone this time. Apparently they had all gotten voice mails yesterday and he was trying one more time to see if he could get me. He said that when he fell off of the camel, they got it on video...can't wait to see that!! They are all doing great and will be leaving Africa tonight and are set to arrive tomorrow afternoon at 2:15PM. We are missing him a bunch and can't wait to see him!!!
