Safe Arrival

Well, we finally got a call from Chug this afternoon about 4PM. I say finally because there were posts on facebook around 1 PM that several of the wives had heard from their husbands. The wait was driving me a little nuts! But he called and he is there and doing OK. He is tired...I guess almost 24 hours of travel will do that to you. Tomorrow they will be heading to the city of Maradi, Niger. It is a long drive...9 hours I think. But on the way they are going to be seeing Giraffe's. That is my favorite animal so I am hoping for lots of pictures. We'll see. He said that the temperature was 90 degrees so not too bad. We miss him a lot, but know that he is doing something very important and can't wait to hear all about it.
